Ahead of Saturday's home clash with Brackley Town, we spoke to Luke Armstrong.
Speaking to CUTV, he reflected on returning from injury, missing the team photo at Truro City and shifting focus to the play-offs.
Here’s everything we learnt:
1. Positive return from injury
"I was desperate to get back out there.
"It was nice to get a few minutes in the legs. We got the job done."
2. Match minutes crucial ahead of play-offs
"It was huge for me [getting game time ahead of the play-offs].
"I always want to get a good few minutes before important games.
"It's big that I'm match fit and ready for the play-offs."
3. Professional performance in tough conditions
"It was tough conditions [against Truro City], I thought.
"Definitely not a memorable game.
"We came out with a bit of quality and got the three points in the end."
4. Truro proved a difficult away test
"It's a tough place to go. They take pride in how tough they are to beat.
"We found it tough to break them down."
5. Missing the team photo
"I don't really know how it happened, to be honest.
"The lads were wanting to take a photo and I ran in to get him (Gabe Breeze).
"They took it without us, which was quite sad to be honest, so me and Gabe got a little one by ourselves."
6. Third place secured but focus already shifting
"Yeah, [it was] great [to secure third place], but heads are [already] switched on.
"We're ready for the play-off game.
"We're excited to finish the [regular] season off at home, and [try to] get some momentum ahead of the play-offs."
7. The opening game set the tone for the season
"Just getting off to a good start after two tough seasons that I've been here.
"That really set the tone for us [at Woking back in August].
"It was a standout for me for many reasons."
8. Pleasing to see the amount of chances being created
"The lads are creating loads of chances for us.
"It is up to us (the forwards) to put them away.
"That's why I've been watching and chomping at the bit to get back out there."
9. Expecting a physical test from Brackley
"They'll want to finish the season on a high.
"It was a tough game down at their place when we played them.
"They are a big physical side and we've got to be ready for that side of the game."
10. Falling back on past play-off experience
"You can use it at times, [having previous play-off experience].
"You've got to be ready for the challenge.
"Whoever we play, we're all going to be ready to do our best to try and get to the final."
