Carlisle United Supporters' Trust have launched a brand-new Honorary Squad Member initiative, giving one supporter the opportunity to become part of the Blues' squad story for the 2026/27 season.
For just £10 per entry, supporters can enter a draw to win a unique Carlisle United experience, including a personalised squad shirt, a dedicated biography on the club website, inclusion on the matchday programme squad page, a photo opportunity with the first team squad and the title of Honorary Squad Member for the season.
The initiative has been developed by the Supporters' Trust with the backing of Carlisle United and aims to provide an affordable, supporter-focused opportunity while raising funds to support the club.
Supporters can purchase entries through the Carlisle United Supporters' Trust shop, with multiple entries permitted. Entries must be purchased by someone aged 16 or over, although the winning entrant may nominate another person, including a young supporter, to receive the honorary experience.
The draw will close at 5pm on Thursday 30 July 2026, with the winner being selected on Friday 31 July ahead of the start of the new campaign.
Speaking about the initiative, Carlisle United Supporters' Trust 1921 Director, Matt Spooner said: "This is exactly the type of supporter-focused initiative we want to see more of. It is affordable, different and gives fans of all ages a chance to feel even closer to the club.
"The Supporters' Trust has worked hard to put together something that is simple, fun and positive. It creates a memorable experience for one supporter while also generating funds that ultimately help Carlisle United."
Carlisle United Commercial Manager, Kerry Jardine added: "We are pleased to collaborate with the Supporters' Trust on this initiative. It gives fans a really unique way to connect with the club and be part of the season in a different way.
"The Honorary Squad Member package is a great example of something that feels personal, memorable and supporter-focused, while also creating another positive link between the club and the Trust."
Supporters' Trust Chairman, Dan MacLennan said: "The Trust is always looking for ways to support Carlisle United in a practical and positive way, and this initiative gives supporters a direct opportunity to be part of that.
"Every entry helps the Trust continue its work in support of the club, while giving fans the chance to win something genuinely unique. Whether someone enters for themselves, a family member or a young supporter, it is a chance to create a lasting memory."
The Honorary Squad Member title is honorary in nature and does not include any playing, registration or employment rights, financial remuneration, squad privileges or cash alternative. The successful entrant will hold the title for the 2026/27 season only.
For overseas winners, or where attending the squad photo opportunity is not practical, an alternative prize package may be arranged, which may include a signed shirt, signed football, signed team photograph or a similar club-related item.
