On Tuesday evening, academy teams enjoyed a great end of season celebration at Game On in Carlisle!
Players from U9-U15 attended the fun and competitive evening, where they participated in activities such as darts, bowling, curling and crazy golf.
The players and staff spent three hours rotating around the different activities before sitting down to enjoy some hot food together.
This enabled the lads to socialise in a different environment, where they represented themselves, their families, and the football club extremely well.
It has been a long season for everyone involved at the Academy from players, parents and staff, so this was a great way to finish the season and have some fun.
Academy manager Steven Rudd said: "This was a great way to finish the Academy season and it was fantastic to see the players and staff enjoying themselves after a long season.
“Seeing the way the players interact with each other, work together, communicate with each other and the togetherness that was shown on the night is something we can all be proud of.
“A big thank you must go to Laura and her staff at Game On, they were excellent in organising the event and looked after us very well on the night.
“I just want to take this opportunity to publicly thank the players, parents and Academy staff for all of the work and effort they have put in over the course of the season - it has been another successful season for the Academy and we are already looking forward to next season starting."
