PREVIEW: Charlton (A)

8 March 2024

United travel to The Valley for the first time since 2011 on Saturday to face Charlton Athletic.

Charlton are unbeaten in their last six games, winning two and drawing four. They went on a run of 16 games without a win before an impressive away victory at Derby at the end of February.

Manager Nathan Jones was appointed on 4 February 2024, and the Addicks have only lost once since his appointment.

Charlton currently sit in 14th place in the league, having won nine, drawn 14 and lost 14 of their 37 league games so far.

Our player to watch is striker Alfie May.

He has scored 22 goals in his 41 appearances so far this season after making the summer move to The Valley from Cheltenham Town ahead of the 2023/24 campaign.
