4 January 2024

Carlisle United can confirm that Luke Plange has returned to Crystal Palace following his half-season loan spell.

The forward joined the Blues during the summer window and featured 26 times - scoring twice in the process.

His debut came on the opening day of the campaign during the 1-1 draw with Fleetwood Town in what was the first of 14 starts for United.

That was added to by a further 11 appearances from the bench, while Plange netted his first goal during a 1-1 draw with Lincoln City - his former club.

His second goal came during the defeat at Reading while the forward was also named as the Vesta Wealth Man of the Match in the 2-2 draw with Northampton Town in December.

Everyone at Carlisle United thanks Luke for his efforts and contributions during his time at Brunton Park, and wishes him well for the future.
