The Carlisle United under-18 team enjoyed a slightly different kind of training session as their season drew to a close with a visit to Carlisle Foot Golf in Kingstown.
As you can imagine, it got extremely competitive almost from the first tee-off, but it proved to be a very good way of keeping spirits high at the conclusion of a long, tough campaign.
Things were tense leading into the final game of the day, but the bragging rights went to James Walsh and Mark Birch who thrashed Sam Hetherington and Paul Boertien convincingly.
