CUSG: Get your Christmas raffle tickets now!

Carlisle United Supporters' Groups (CUSG) have launched a Christmas Raffle which will be drawn on Wednesday 28 December.

Prizes have been donated by local businesses and tickets are now on sale for £1. All proceeds will go towards fan related projects.

Terry McCarthy, CUSG rep, co-ordinated the raffle and praised local businesses who have stepped up to donate prizes: "Given the tough economic climate, the response has been fantastic.

"Almost every call we made resulted in a positive response. We will give all these businesses some social media coverage and would welcome any more donations.

"There was a real willingness to support the initiative having seen the type of projects CUSG have delivered previously.

"Once we have the funds from the raffle, we will consider further fan related projects for which to use the proceeds.”

"We know our fans will dig deep and help us raise a good amount. We appreciate that a lot of fans prefer to use cards rather than cash, so we will have card readers at Brunton Park.”
