The buzz is back following the news that manager Paul Simpson has agreed a three-year deal and, as he said after he’d put pen-to-paper, it’s time now for us all to pull together as we look to make things better.

And we’re delighted to confirm that season tickets for the 2022/23 campaign are now on sale from the Pioneer ticket office or over the phone. 

Chief executive Nigel Clibbens said: “We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your fantastic and continued support throughout what was a really poor and disappointing 21/22 campaign.

“There is no escaping that, but we need to put that firmly behind us, and we’ve started making the steps forward to doing that in February.”

“Firstly, the end of the season brought a remarkable turnaround and a total transformation following the arrival of Paul,” he continued. “Now with him agreeing to stay on a long-term deal, the excitement and optimism for 22/23 is the highest for many years.

“We hope that you will get behind him and the club in the season ahead.

“There is no escaping the fact that the costs of running the club, and costs of competing on the field, have increased.

“The club cannot absorb these and still provide the finances to progress. At the same time, undertaking the overhaul needed and supporting Paul needs to be done in a way that works for the club.

“After many years of price freezes, we need to face up to this and reluctantly increase some season tickets prices, our match prices, and restructure our concession prices.

“We’re looking forward to seeing you here in numbers once again as you give your support to Simmo and his players as we build on that sense of community and togetherness that will give us a real chance of seeing much better days ahead.”

All season ticket prices and terms are below. The Super Early Buy and Early Buy prices reflect a £2 per game increase in match day prices.

How to purchase:

Call 0330 094 5930 (option 1), or purchase in-person at the Pioneer ticket office, open from 10am – 5pm. There are no online season ticket purchases this season.

We again are offering a direct debit option – this is an extremely efficient way of securing and paying for your season ticket.

The first payment will be taken on 1 July 2022 and will be taken over a ten-month basis, ending 1 April 2023. We reserve the right to refuse a direct debit.

2022/23 season ticket prices 

*All junior under 14 season tickets or match tickets must be accompanied by an adult, senior, young adult or junior U18 season ticket. U14 season tickets or match tickets cannot be purchased on their own.  

*All concession season tickets must provide photo ID. The age you are on 1 August 2022 is the age category you will fall into for your season ticket. 

Adult - 23 - 64 years old
Senior - 65+ 
Young person - 18 - 22

*Proof of disability must be provided for Ambulant disabled or wheelchair supporters, dated within the last six months.

Dates of Sale

Early Buy Period – Saturday 30 April (after the Stevenage game from 5pm) – Friday 17 June.

Standard Period – from Monday 20 June.

Please note, the ticket office is closed for the Bank Holiday on Monday 2 May.
