United were back in action at home for their first fixture following their festive break.
United came back for the new year with a blistering performance thanks to a hat-trick from Mason Hardy and a goal each for Nic Bollado and Dylan Garvey.
The Blues went into the break with a one-goal advantage, but they dominated the second period with some excellent play.
Youth boss Mark Bicrh said: "This was a great way to come back from the festive break.
"We had to work hard to get ahead, but we looked like scoring every time we went forward in the second period.
"Well done to the lads for a very good performance."
