Carlisle United Supporters’ Groups [CUSG] hosted a very busy online forum with club directors in attendance in the Sunset Suite at Brunton Park on Tuesday.
Due to the high number of questions received, we will be hosting a second forum with a reduced panel to answer the remaining questions on Tuesday 25 May.
This will be streamed live on the club YouTube channel HERE and questions will be asked by CUSG chair Simon Clarkson and TheCumbrians.net moderators Dan MacLennan and Matt Spooner.
The event will start at 5.30pm on the evening and will run until all questions are answered. The panel will be confirmed in due course but will not be given prior sight of the questions.
Chief executive Nigel Clibbens said: "The first event was a real success which meant we had too many questions to get through on the evening.
"We thought the best way to answer the remaining questions was to do a second forum, so fans can see their questions answered live.
"Simon, Dan and Matt will collate the questions that weren't asked so we can make sure the relevant people are present on the panel to answer them.
“We’ll be streaming it live, as usual, as we know this is an extremely popular way of getting the coverage of the event out there. We had over 2,000 people watch the first part of the forum, which is really pleasing."
CUSG chair Simon Clarkson said: “We had a great response to the forum with over 70 questions received.
"Compared to the number of questions we would usually be able to get through during an 'in-person' forum, it was always going to be difficult to get them all answered in the time slot.
"The club have agreed to host a second forum to ensure that all questions are answered and it will run in the same format as before.
"We can take further questions on topics that haven't already been covered, and priority will go to those questions already submitted.
"We will, of course, monitor social media on the night, should some responses need follow ups."
