Children using our Family Zone here at Brunton Park next season will have free fresh fruit supplied by Cumbrian-based experts Inter Fresh.
The wholesale suppliers of fresh fruit, vegetables and dairy products for south-west Scotland and Cumbria is the latest business to join the growing group of official suppliers to the club’s new in-house catering operation.
Following on from our tie-ups McCalls Bakers, Cumbrian Tea and The Chippie Van, they become our official Family Zone fruit supplier.
Inter Fresh already supports the club commercially, with this a next step in terms of that blossoming relationship as children using the popular Family Zone can now help themselves to free fresh fruit snacks.
Inter Fresh said: “We are excited to be working in partnership with Carlisle United and John Watt to sponsor the fresh fruit for the Family Zone zone on match days.
“We are also delighted to be supplying the fruit and vegetables for Carlisle United for the coming season, with their commitment to supporting local suppliers and building upon our long trading relationship with John Watt.”

Chief executive Nigel Clibbens said: “It’s great to be able to provide free fruit for children on match day in the Family Zone.
“The zone is very popular and we can’t wait to have the kids back. It brings another quality local food provider on board and it’s another step forward in changing the overall experience on a match day.”
Remember, every pound of profit will be reinvested in the club. Spending by fans and businesses in the ground on our catering services will benefit the club more than ever before.
Our recent survey confirmed that our fans feel that it is important for them that when they support the club with a purchase, they know that profits are going back into the club. They indicated that this is a big factor when it comes to them supporting our catering operations.
In the coming weeks there will be further announcements as more new catering developments are confirmed.
