Carlisle United Football Club is delighted to welcome another successful local company on board for the coming season as Bimson Haulage will see their logo take pride of place above the EFL League Two numbering and lettering on the back of the first-team match day shirts.
The Bimson family have been in business since 1947 and became established in the haulage industry in the 1970’s.
Richard and John Bimson are the third generation of this successful transport business that has experienced a 600% growth over the last 10 years and have expanded from the initial base in Carlisle to locations in London, Yorkshire and the Midlands.
This growth has been a result of continued emphasis on customer service and reliability, whilst being price competitive in a demanding industry.
Bimson are now a leading company within their sector and serve as the main haulier to some of the UK’s largest construction material manufacturers. Their fleet of modern HGVs are at the forefront of the very latest customer, technological and environmental demands whilst possessing the highest specifications to look after today’s professional driver.
Commercial manager Jenny Anderson said: “It was fantastic to meet the team from Bimson Haulage and we are delighted to be able to welcome them on board with what will be such a prominent and eye-catching sponsorship agreement.
“The conversations we had were extremely positive from the outset and it was clear that they had a real desire to work with us. That was fantastic for us to see, and we can’t overstate how important relationships like this are to the football club.
“We’re delighted that another strong local brand will be featuring on our first team playing kit and we’re looking forward to watching our partnership blossom through what we hope will be a successful campaign.”
