With the Blues having picked up four points from their first two league outings they head down the M6 looking to build on their performances with another good display.
“We’ve prepared for a really tough game tonight,” manager Chris Beech said. “Darrell [Clarke] has recruited well and he’ll be looking for his team to start to kick on.
“He’s a competitive person and he’s stated in his interviews that for the first time in his managerial career there are no excuses.
“What he means by that is that he has the budget and finance to get who and what he wants.
"Often lower league management doesn’t come down to getting what you want, you’ve got to try to adapt within the resources you have at hand to get what you want.
“I have no doubt that he’ll be working hard to achieve what he wants to achieve. That’s the same for us, we work hard with a tight group of players who are determined to represent us and themselves to a high standard.
“We compete in every game we play and that’ll be no different tonight.”
