The new ERREA 2020/21 replica home and away kits have gone down extremely well with United's fans with online and telephone orders matching a very steady procession of supporters who have chosen to pop along to the Blues Store to see them first hand, prior to making their purchase.
Finance director Suzanne Kidd said: "Thursday was extremely busy, as was Friday, and we saw again on Saturday that things stayed busy throughout the day.
"Particularly popular this year have been the online and telephone methods of purchase. That's understandable, with some people still preferring to stay as safe as they possibly can in light of the Covid-19 situation, and most of the orders received in that way have been turned around within 24 hours.
"We'd like to thank everybody for how patient they've been with the changes we've made to the shopping experience. We've been very grateful for the positivity and understanding our fans have given us, especially during the busier periods."
"I think I said this at the weekend, but the training kit range is also proving to be very popular simply because it really does have something for everyone," she added. "There are classic style t-shirts for fans of all ages, with hoodies that are also appealing across the age groups.
"It's brilliant to see so many new blue and orange tops as you head into Carlisle, and we're hoping that both kits prove to be up there with the most popular we've had."
