United's home game against Salford was subject to a late call-off on Saturday morning.
Youth boss Eric Kinder said: "The referee decided during the warm-up thate he wasn't happy with the condition of the pitch, so he decided to call it off.
"It's just one of those things and Salford were very understanding of the situation. Everyone wanted it to go ahead, but it wasn't to be."
