Carlisle United Supporters’ Group (CUSG) are reminding fans that they still have time to volunteer their support for the second volunteer week commencing on Monday 15 July.
As with the previous week, the aim is to help to get Brunton Park ready for the start of the new season.
The volunteer days will run from 10am to 4pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of next week. Hot and cold drinks will be provided but fans should bring their own lunch.
By way of a thank you fans wiĺl be entitled to a ticket to one of the two remaining home pre-season friendlies for each day they attend. So, for anyone who attends on all three days they would be entitled to three match tickets.
Terry McCarthy, CUSG events coordinator explained: "This is a chance for fans to get involved in the build up to the new season by assisting in preparing the stadium for the new campaign.
“In the main volunteers will be involved in painting tasks but there may be other tasks to get involved with. Volunteer weeks are something that we do every year and we’re hoping for a positive response from our fans this week.”
Geoff Weston, the club's supporter liaison officer will be coordinating the volunteer days. Anyone interested in volunteering should contact Geoff on firstname.lastname@example.org or call him on 07966 529 332.
