First-year professional Kieron Olsen has today joined Northern Premier League side Workington AFC on a one-month loan deal.
Olsen, 18, a versatile player who can play in defence or in midfield, came through United’s youth ranks last season to earn his first professional contract with the club.
He joins fellow Blues Max Brown and Jordan Holt at Borough Park as he looks to gain vital pitch time having recently returned a knee injury picked up during the club’s tour to Budapest.
Meanwhile it has been confirmed that midfielder Jordan Holt will extend his stay with Workington for a further month when his initial loan spell expires next week.
