United were at Gillford Park for the visit of Rochdale on Tuesday afternoon - and a huge thank you goes to Carlisle City for hosting our game at their excellent stadium.
It turned into a tough afternoon for the young Blues as Kieron Olsen was given his marching orders for the use of an elbow with just 25 minutes on the clock.
Dale bagged the lead from a well delivered corner just before the break, and they sealed the points on 67 minutes with an incisive move and an excellent finish.
Youth boss Darren Edmondson said: "It's always going to be difficult when you have a man sent off that early but, credit it to our lads, they gave as good as they got.
"In the end it was a moment of quality in the second half which killed off what I thought was a good response from us."
More details to follow.
