The club understands there is an article which will appear this morning in the Cumberland News newspaper following an interview with Yahya Kirdi.
We were invited to respond to some claims made in the interview. This we have done.
From the information supplied to us by Cumberland News, it appears to be a version of events which bears very little or no reality to the circumstances of December 2016 to February 2017.
We have no desire and see no benefit in being drawn into a war of words and therefore the club will not be making any further reply to the article.
