Academy graduate Sam Adewusi today celebrated a return to pre-season training by signing his first one-year professional contract with the club.
Adewusi, 18, made his mark as a central midfielder through a solid second year of football with the under-18 side and was offered his contract at the end of last season.
Manager John Sheridan said: "I've heard good things about all of the young lads and I'm really looking forward to working with them.
"Sam is like the other players in the squad, they all come in fresh and with a point a prove. I want every player to show me they want to be part of it as we got through the next few weeks and months. I'm sure he's looking forward to the challenge."
