The Carlisle United annual Golf Day, in memory of Dick Young and sponsored by Online Systems, is under way this afternoon with teams of four playing their way round the excellent course at Carlisle Golf Club in beaming sunshine.
Sponsors, business and commercial partners, and friends of the club, are battling for the bragging rights on what is a glorious day with United also being represented by players and members of staff.
The squad kicked things off with a tricky putting competition which saw Richie Bennett edge out Tom Parkes and Kelvin Etuhu with an excellently controlled 40-footer, which stopped just inches away from the target bottle.
With money being raised for MIND and for the Jigsaw Children's Hospice, we would like to thank everybody who is taking part for helping to make it another memorable club event.
