Fresh from their away victory at Port Vale, United played host to Bury on Saturday afternoon in their latest league fixture.
A brace from Liam McCarron was complemented by goals from Luke Taylor and Luke Lloyd as the young Blues dominated the game.
It could have been a bigger score as the hosts struck the woodwork three times as they restricted the Shakers to just three chances through the course of the 90 minutes.
Youth boss Darren Edmondson said: "We controlled the game but, on this occasion, we got the goals and result to go with it.
"With no disrespect to Bury we could have added to the tally, so I'm delighted for the lads and I know they're pleased with the way they did things today."
