And it was a tough afternoon as the Saddlers took advantage of an injury hit home side to notch a convincing seven-goal victory.
Youth boss Darren Edmondson said: "We were beaten by the better side on the day.
"Injuries really affected the way we wanted to do things and we finished the game with just ten men and three under-16 players on the park.
"It was a tough afternoon for everybody but it's important that everyone learns from it and moves on quickly."
