Carlisle United are delighted to announce that club partners Eddie Wannop Ltd have further strengthened their relationship with the Cumbrians with a new sponsorship deal which sees their logo appear on our first team and under-18 playing shorts this season.
Eddie Wannop Ltd first got involved with United during the 2015/16 season when they took up a hospitality package in Foxy’s Restaurant for that campaign.
The following season saw them add stadium advertising boards to that package, and they have since taken an Executive Box and Business Club membership to complement their Carlisle United portfolio.
United’s Sales and Marketing Director Phil King said: “It's great to see that Eddie Wannop Ltd are getting more and more involved with the club as each season goes by.
“They’ve shown a great commitment and put sponsorship money into the club which makes a real difference. Eddie has also been supportive with some of the ground works at Brunton Park through this last season, which is a good help.
“You see their vehicles all over Carlisle and they are a growing business - it's good to have them on board again.
“We haven’t had a sponsor on the back of the shorts for a number of years, other than a one-off for the Everton cup game in 2015/16, so it should get some good profile.
“I finalised things with Eddie and the guys over our annual steak lunch a few weeks back, and I'm looking forward to working with them again this season!"
Eddie Wannop said: “We've got more and more involved with the club over the last few seasons and this is a great way to extend that support.
“We’re keen to see the Club grow and improve, and this helps with that. We've found the hospitality box useful through inviting customers and business partners in, and it will be good to goto the next level and see the 'Wannop' logo on the kit.
“In terms of football, we had a pretty good season on the pitch last year and hopefully we can go one better this season.”
