Our new catering partners, abm Catering, are delighted to announce a Happy Hour in the Sporting Inn and Sunset Suite between 12pm and 1.30pm on Saturday afternoon.
Both bars will be showing the Swansea City v Manchester United game [kick off 12.30pm] to get you in the mood for the big event of the day as the Blues take on Cheltenham at 3pm.
The Happy Hour includes a ‘50p per pint off’ offer on Fosters, John Smiths and Strongbow [£3 per pint during the Happy Hour] – please note, Guinness and Morretti will be sold at full price.
Free mini-pies will be available as part of the 1,000 free pies offer on a first come, first served basis [free mini-pies also available at our other catering outlets from 1.30pm]. Normal pies, crisps and chocolate are also available at normal retail prices.
And we are also delighted to confirm that both the Sporting Inn and the Sunset Suite will be open after the game to give fans the opportunity to do some Sunderland scouting as they take on Leeds United at Elland Road [kick off 5.30pm].
Commercial assistant Katie Mitchell said: “Staffing levels are much higher than they were for the Swindon game and more staff will be added to each kiosk at half time.
“The new double-hatches at the Paddock South and Warwick Road End kiosks will also be open and fully staffed.
“We will have a half-time ordering system in operation at all outlets selling alcohol – simply place your order before kick off and return to the same outlet to collect your drinks at half time. Hopefully this will help to reduce the need to queue significantly.”
McConnell’s Paddock Bar will also be open on Saturday.
