United gave themselves a mountain to climb as they started slowly and Burnley were ahead by two goals within the first eleven minutes.The young Cumbrians gave themselves a lifeline ahead of the break when Maboy was tugged back inside the area. Joe Breen placed the ball for the spot kick and he smashed it into the bottom corner to leave the keeper with no chance.
It was much tighter in the second half but both sides stayed tight and the Clarets took home a hard earned three points.
