LOAN: Left-sided player joins Salford City

3 November 2016

Patrick Brough joins Salford City on loan

Defender Patrick Brough has today joined National League North side Salford City on a one-month loan deal which will keep him at Moor Lane until 4 December 2016.

Brough, 20, first stepped up to the first team ranks at Brunton Park at the beginning of the 2013/14 season, as cover at left back and on the left flank, and has made a total of 49 appearances for the club so far.

Manager Keith Curle said: “Patrick is one of the players we’ve talked about who needs game time. He is desperate to be playing football and, with the way the team has been performing, the opportunities have been limited for him this season.

“He has continued to work extremely hard in training and this move will be good for all concerned. Salford are a good club who are looking to push their season on from what has been a decent start. Patrick will now get competitive football at a good level, which will benefit us and him.”

Normal loan rules apply for this deal.
