PREVIEW: Match information ahead of the Luton Town game

18 April 2016

Luton Town big match preview

With four games left to go the chasing pack know that now is the time to pick up the points as pursuit of that final play-off spot continues.

The Hatters gave automatic promotion hopefuls Oxford United a huge slap in the face when they picked up an impressive away victory on Saturday courtesy of three goals in a 15-minute spell either side of the break.

Manager Keith Curle said: “I can tell you that we are going for every point available. We know what we have to do and the players will continue to give us competitive and committed performances. The challenge is to do our jobs and see if we can keep the pressure on the other teams involved by picking up the points.

“The team showed they will work hard, even when faced with adversity, with what they did on Saturday. Luton will come here to carry on their good work from the weekend and I expect it to be a very keenly contested encounter.”

The Mascots

Our mascots on the night are Mark Musgrave and Millie Cullen. They both like Jabo Ibehre but it’s a battle of the big boys when it comes to their second favourites – Millie likes Messi and Mark likes Ronaldo!

Have a good night with us guys!

The Man in the Middle

Our match referee tomorrow is a change from the original listing - Mr Tony Harrington has been replaced by Mr Mark Haywood. Mark has taken charge of 31 games so far this season and has shown 76 yellow cards and seven reds.

We last met Mr Haywood in our 1-1 away draw at Oxford in December. Cheyenne Dunkley put the ball into his own net for United's goal and Luke Joyce was the only name taken on the day.

Our betting partner Sky Bet has some fantastic odds available on all match markets – click HERE for more details.
