Attendance figures corrected as glitch is discovered
Carlisle United Football Club can confirm that the crowd figures for the first two home fixtures, against Cambridge and AFC Wimbledon, have been revised following the discovery of a glitch in the new ticketing system installed at Brunton Park during the summer.
The Cambridge figure, originally announced as 6,354, has been corrected as 4,833 and the AFC Wimbledon figure, released as 5,949, has been corrected as 4,412.
Media officer Andy Hall said: “There was a glitch which led to the number of season ticket holders being double counted and the error had not been discovered at the time we submitted the original attendances.
“We have since completed the reconciliation, as is normal practice, and we have submitted the correct figures to the Football League as part of our follow-up action.
“The new figures have been accepted and all attendance data submitted going forward will be correct.”

AFC Wimbledon – 22 August 2015 – 4,412
