United to play Tranmere in FA Youth Cup round one
Carlisle United will play Tranmere Rovers in the first round of this season’s FA Youth Cup at Brunton Park on Wednesday 4 November, kick off 7pm.
Entrance prices will be £3 for adults and £1.50 for concessions.
Youth boss Alan Moore said: “This is a chance for the lads to play under the lights at the main stadium. There’ll be a few nerves around, because it does make it feel different, but it will be another part of the learning curve for those players who haven’t done it before.
“We went to watch Tranmere play Prescott Cables last Thursday and we know they’ll come and give us a test. They beat us earlier in the season, but that was a very close game which could have gone either way.
“It’s one for us all to look forward to.”
