CUFC Partners Global Heat Source call on Carlisle fans to consider installing Solar before Feed in Tariff comes to an end – and earn a FREE 2016/17 season ticket into the bargain!!
A community partnership between leading UK solar company Global Heat Source and Carlisle United FC is reminding residents they can still benefit from solar energy savings before the government reduces the supportive funding in the form of Feed in Tariffs – and United fans can score a double-hit if they sign up for solar with our FREE 2016/17 season ticket offer!
Uptake of solar has proven so popular the government could reduce the incentive, designed to encourage households to invest in the renewable energy source, as early as this December.
Former Carlisle United defender Peter Murphy, who is now employed by Global Heat Source and has seen a partnership between the two local organisations bring about improvements to the Brunton Park stadium and the youth academy, is keen to encourage residents to find out if their home is suitable. Investing in a solar system before the December deadline means households can lock-in savings now for up to twenty years, plus there is our added incentive in the form of a free 2016/17 season ticket.
Peter said: “Solar is sustainable, environmentally friendly, works even on cloudy days and the advanced technology we now enjoy means it’s a really sensible option for many homes. The latest offer from Global Heat Source means that investing in solar will also support local football club Carlisle United with a free 2016/17 season ticket for all completed installations.”

The solar offer is open to all Carlisle homeowners, residents and tenants and could see households save between £235-£620 each year* on energy bills from an investment of £5,495.
All homes are entitled to a free survey of the building to ensure it is suitable for solar, with the offer including high quality panels and a full installation and repair service from fully MCS accredited engineers.
Global Heat Source have supported Carlisle United FC for the past few years, helping to improve the floodlighting at Brunton Park, as well as offering sponsorship to the youth development academy. They are also Business Club members, taking regular corporate hospitality packages.
