Foundation Degree in Community Football Coaching and Development
The University of South Wales, in association with the The Football League Trust, has developed a unique online distance learning Foundation Degree for talented individuals who want to work in the football industry.
This course combines academic and vocational learning in a professional football club environment. It is designed to enhance the career prospects of those already in employment or current professional players.
Course content:
+ UEFA C and UEFA B Football Coaching Licences
+ Principles of Coaching
+ Community Sport in Practice
+ Community Football Development
+ Work-Based Learning (with a football club)
Students will have online lectures based at their selected football club, along with work-based learning opportunities within that club. UEFA qualifications are embedded in the course and students will also have access to University facilities.
