Midfielder Bastien Hery joins Carlisle United
Carlisle United have today signed midfielder Bastien Hery on a one-year deal, with an option to extend, which brings him to Brunton Park for the coming season.
French-born Hery, 23, started his career with Paris St Germain II before making the move across the Channel to join the Sheffield Wednesday Development Squad in 2012.
He spent a trial period with Rochdale at the end of the 2012/13 season and became Keith Hill’s first signing of pre-season in 2013.
Hery made over 40 appearances for Dale and scored twice during his three-year stay at Spotland, and he was also called up twice to feature in the French U18 squad in 2009.
We'll have reaction to this signing on the official website on Friday morning.
