TICKETS: Oxford United and Notts County update

9 December 2015

Update on the ticket situation for Oxford and Notts County games

United fans who have ordered tickets for the Oxford United away game on Saturday 12 December, but have not yet received them, should contact the club at the earliest opportunity so that collection can be arranged on match day at the Kassam Stadium.

Finance director Suzanne Kidd said: "We have a small number of supporters who ordered tickets for this game by the delivery to their homes method.

"Hopefully all of them got through the recent upheaval but, if that isn't the case, we have been informed by Oxford that they are more than happy to print duplicates, on our authority, for collection on match day.

"I have to say that the staff at Oxford have been magnificent with us. They really are going out of their way to help - the donation of the proceeds of the 50/50 half time draw to the Cumbria Flood Appeal is a massive example of that - and we can only say thank you as our own football family continues to grow."

If you have a concern about your Oxford United match ticket please email the club on - we will then contact Oxford on your behalf.

Supporters are reminded that they can pay on the day on Saturday at the Kassam Stadium.

Looking further ahead, club officials are attending a meeting at Deepdale tomorrow [Thursday 10 December] to finalise the match details and ticket information for the Notts County fixture.

Club secretary Sarah McKnight said: "We're going to meet the staff at Preston North End to finalise the plans for the operational side of playing our home fixture at Deepdale on Saturday 19 December.

"This will include ticketing, safety, administration, media and management of all aspects of the match day. Preston North End have been fantastic from the moment first contact was made and they have made it a very easy process so far.

"We're looking forward to meeting them all face-to-face and to putting our procedures in place to bring you what we hope will be an enjoyable fixture in almost unique circumstances."

Full match and ticket details for the Notts County game will follow as soon as possible.
