Bastien Hery on the Chesterfield game
Midfielder and man of the match Bastien Hery spoke to us about the victory over Chesterfield in the Capital One Cup shortly after full time on Tuesday night."I didn't expect the man of the match award because I didn't think I played that well from my own perspective," he admitted. "I played ok, but I think I should have done better.
"Today was only the second game but we showed what we're trying to do this season. We showed what we can do and we can build on that now. Everything feels right at the moment for us to push forward."
"The tempo is totally different and in England you have to work hard just to be in the team. If you don't work hard you don't play, but I'm enjoying it because everyone is working hard for each other. I know I need to do my job as well as I can and that's good for us all."
"I'm enjoying the way we do things here because I want to play the game with the ball," he said. "If I don't get on the ball I don't like it. I know I need to do some things better, and every day you have to try and be better in everything you do.
"There's a lot of new lads here and I think that helps. When you go to a new club on your own it can be difficult, but when everyone is new you know you are getting to know each other. At some clubs you can go in and be left to cope alone, but here everyone wants to talk to each other.
