Lee Miller on moving forward
United striker Lee Miller confirmed today that his Friday morning meeting with manager Graham Kavanagh had reached a positive outcome following discussions about last weekend’s post match team briefing.
“I’ve spoken to the manager this morning and it was good to be able to explain what happened last weekend from my point of view,” he said. “It was a complete misunderstanding of the situation on my part, and I have apologised for that.
“There is no way I would ever deliberately miss a team meeting, definitely not an important one with the manager, and it was good for me to be able to eventually talk it through with him.
“The situation has now been resolved and we are looking forward to moving on and working hard together from here.”
