Post match recovery at DW Sports
Carlisle United first team squad members took advantage of the pool facilities at DW Sports on Currock Road this morning to help with their recovery from the League One away fixture at Bramall Lane last night.
With the amount of travelling, and the quick turnaround of recent fixtures, it was felt that a different type of session would be beneficial with Saturday’s home game in mind, so physio Neil Dalton made a quick phone call to that friendly gang at DW Sports and they kindly cleared the use of their swimming pool - at very short notice.
“DW Sports have helped us out a lot over the years,” Dolly explained. “Our youth team use the facilities regularly and it’s also good for our injured lads to be able to have a change of environment so close at hand.
“We’d like to thank everyone at DW for helping us out again today.”
