Burnley defender Tom Anderson stays for another month
Carlisle United can confirm that Burnley defender Tom Anderson has extended his loan spell with the club and will remain at Brunton Park until 3 January 2015.
Anderson, 22, initially joined the Cumbrians at the end of October and has played four games for the Blues so far.
He came through the Clarets’ youth ranks and has enjoyed loan spells with Barrow, Hyde Halifax and Lincoln where he registered his first senior goal during six appearances at Sincil Bank at the start of this season.
“Tom has done well and we think there is more to come from him,” manager Keith Curle said. “He likes to defend and that’s something we can work with. He’s enjoying being around the first team and he has a good attitude and approach to the way he plays. We think he’ll continue to improve and we’re pleased that he’ll be with us for another month.”
