Youth midfielder on standby for Northern Ireland
U18 midfielder Harvey Moyes has been placed on standby for the U19 Northern Ireland squad for their games against Iceland in Dungannon and Belfast early next month.
Second year Moyes, who joined the club’s Academy last season, has featured in all three of the youth fixtures so far this season and will be notified by manager Stephen Craigan on 1 September if he is to feature in the double header of games.
Academy manager Alan Moore said: “This is great news for both the club and the player.
“It goes to show that all his and our hard work is getting recognised by people outside the club. It's a major honour to be recognised by your national team, at any level, and we are hoping this develops into a full call-up once we get into next month.”
