Delivery delay for new strip
Carlisle United fans will be aware that we have switched kit supplier this season to Sondico Professional Ltd as part of a potential three-season deal.
This deal includes provision of kit for all first team and youth squad requirements and the sale of replica strips, both home and away, in our Blues Store on Warwick Road.
Production problems during the summer have resulted in a small supply of away shirts and training kit being delivered for retail, for the start of the season, but the current indication is that home shirts will not be available until the end of week commencing 11 August 2014.
We recognise that the supply problems have been beyond the control of Sondico Professional Ltd and that they are working hard behind the scenes to rectify the situation.
Delivery of the first team home kit is scheduled for Wednesday / Thursday this week to allow the team to play the opening home games of the season, against Luton Town and Derby County, in the brand new strip.
We would like to thank Sondico Professional Ltd for their support of our #WallofColour and #cufc6000 campaigns and for providing, free of charge, 3,500 blue t-shirts for our fans to wear as we look to set the new season off on a positive note. Details on how these t-shirts will be distributed will be made available later this week.
