Cadamarteri in for surgery
United striker Danny Cadamarteri has suffered a setback on his road to recovery as he returned to hospital for a second operation on an ongoing knee problem this afternoon.Cadamarteri, 33, underwent an initial procedure on his left knee in April this year and will now work through a further period of recovery following today's hospital visit.
"Cadz has had a few complications with his recovery so he has gone back in with his surgeon," manager Graham Kavanagh said. "There are no timescales on recovery, or anything like that, because we are now in the hands of his medical team. Hopefully it wall all settle down for him because it's been a very frustrating period for him."
