Result from the Thursday youth game
Four goals from striker Alex Salmon and a brace from new recruit Frankie Wallace were just about enough to see United over the line in their game against Bury this afternoon.
The young Cumbrians looked devastating in attack but were always susceptible to a counter from a lively Shakers outfit.
"We look really good going forward but I'm not happy at all with the defending," coach Eric Kinder said.
"We have to be better without the ball and we have to work much harder if we want to finish the season off properly."
