Right back extends at Penrith
United defender Brandon Gwinnutt will stay with Ebac northern league side Penrith AFC on-loan until 23 January 2014.
Gwinnutt, 18, joined the Blues in the middle of October and has enjoyed a successful spell, playing regularly for the Frenchfield Park outfit.
He is currently due to serve a three-match suspension for a red card received in the 3-1 victory over Durham City midway through last month.
“The reports we’ve had have been really good, which is exactly what we wanted,” manager Graham Kavanagh said. “He’s getting regular football and Matt [Henney] is really looking after him. This has been a good move for him and we are more than happy for it to continue into the New Year.”
