Stopper back as cover
Keeper Lewis Brass has this morning been recalled from his work experience spell with Durham City to act as cover for the weekend FA Cup second round fixture against Brentford.
Brass, 18, teamed up with City last week ahead of their 0-0 away draw at Sunderland RCA. He also featured in Tuesday night’s 4-1 home victory over Marske and has settled well since his move to the Arnott Stadium.
Should this weekend’s cup fixture be resolved then Brass could, if required, make a swift return to resume his work experience spell. However, in the event of a replay he will remain with the Cumbrians until the tie has been settled.
