Todd joins Annan on loan
Midfielder Josh Todd has today joined Scottish League Two side Annan Athletic on a half season loan deal which keeps him north of the border until 5 January 2014.
Todd, 19, came through the club’s youth programme and earned himself a one-year professional deal ahead of the 2012/13 season.
He worked hard through last year and was handed a second one-year deal which keeps him at Brunton Park until the end of the current campaign.
“Josh is a hard worker and he’s at a stage where he needs games,” manager Greg Abbott said. “This will give him a chance to do that with a club who we know will look after him.
“It’s the kind of move which should benefit everyone. He will get important game time under his belt and we will also be able to keep a close eye on him. He’ll train with us as well as with Annan so it’s something he can really get his teeth into.”
This move remains subject to the completion of all relevant clearance.
