U9, U10 & U11 teams enjoy a good day
As part of the link with Carlisle City FC, our U9, U10 and U11 academy teams played a series of friendly games last Thursday.
Academy coach Ben Benson said: "It was great to be able to play the games because we're coming up to the start of the season. This was a good way for us to finish our pre-season preparations.
"As always with the friendlies the results weren't important but the performances the lads put in were brilliant.
"We were all delighted with how the players conducted themselves on the day and they're a credit to the club.
"We would also like to thank the players, coaches and parents connected to Carlisle City for coming down to play the games. We're really positive about the link up and we're all looking forward to future events between both clubs."
