United fans in five figures
As the ticket office prepares to close and with just over 24 hours to go until the Cumbrians play host to Tottenham Hotspur the home crowd ticket sales figures sits at a rather balanced looking figure of 10,001.Spurs have reported sales of 1,409 so, as we head into the final day of sales tomorrow, we have a combined attendance figure of 11,410.
Media officer Andy Hall said: "We seem to have had a queue at the ticket windows whenever we've looked out over the last few days and it's fair to say the fans have definitely been bitten by the Tottenham bug.
"It's a game everyone is looking forward to and it is going to be fantastic to see Brunton Park so full.
"Just about every seat is sold and the standing areas are going at a rapid rate of knots, so hopefully those who haven't yet got their ticket will be able to do so ahead of kick off tomorrow."
