Growth spurt at Brunton Park
That man Andy Welsh pulled the troops together yet again this year for what we thought was a tremendous Movember effort.Welsh, a MoBro regular, refuses to take no for an answer when it comes to raising awareness and cash for Men's Health Charities, and it was the same this time round when the countdown started for the big Movember sprout-fest.
"We've had a few really good growth attempts this season," Welsh said. "The lads entered into the spirit of it yet again even if a couple of them couldn't quite manage to fully populate their top lip.
"What we need now is for people to make a donation, however small, and then we can all say that it has been a magnificent MoBro and MoSister push from Carlisle United."
The Football League have been fully behind this season's campaign and all monies raised goes towards Prostate Cancer UK, our official charity partner for this year.
