New role created at the club
Having listened to supporter feedback Carlisle United have today appointed Nigel Dickinson as Supporter Liaison Officer [SLO] for Carlisle United Football Club.This will run alongside his current role as operations manager and will provide a focal point for comments and issues raised by our fans.
"We are constantly looking at ways to improve communications, and to open new channels, and hopefully this will help us further with that," Nigel said.
"We have already established excellent links via our email database, our social network sites and our website, but we know we can always do more. The intention is that by providing a focal point we should be able to address any issues which arise as quickly as possible."
Our new SLO will be in attendance at the Fans Forum on Friday 7 December [Sunset Suite from 6pm to 8pm - click HERE for more details on the Forum] and will chair a Fans Feedback Group which will meet regularly from January 2013 onwards - see below for details on how to apply to be part of our Feedback Group.

Fans Feedback Group
Carlisle United Football Club are looking to resurrect the Fans Feedback Group - a representative committee consisting of a cross-section of fans which would provide useful feedback on all aspects of the Brunton Park experience and, of course, would be able to raise questions and queries on behalf of everyone.
It is intended that the group will meet at the ground every six to eight weeks to discuss and put forward any ideas which the representatives feel are the issues of the day - a date and time for the first meeting will be confirmed once interest in this scheme has been assessed.
The group would be encouraged to report back to the wider fan-base independently of official channels following each meeting and to monitor progress on issues raised.
Ideally the group will be made up of fans of all age ranges, male and female, who are both season ticket holders and pay-as-you-go supporters. Meetings are provisionally scheduled to be held at 6pm on Friday evenings before home fixtures.
Present at every meeting and representing the club will be the SLO, senior directors and the media officer, with other club personalities attending on an invitation basis.
