Ipswich in round two for the Cumbrians
Carlisle United will host Championship side Ipswich Town at Brunton Park in round two of this season's Capital One Cup following this afternoon's live draw on SKY SPORTS NEWS.
United beat Accrington 1-0 at home in the first round of this season's competition following a first half beauty of a strike from Matt Robson and will face Town during week beginning 27 August (full match details tbc).
Manager Greg Abbott said: "The important thing is that we are still in the competition and this is a decent tie.
"It's a home game, which is what you always want from any knock-out competition, but it will be a very tough test.
"It's one for us to look forward to but we have some very important fixtures to get through between now and then. Our focus has to be be on getting off to a good start and we can prepare for this one once we have got the next three very important fixtures out the way."
